online ordering process
I placed my order online. Now what?
An Order ID number will be sent to you by email, so you know we’ve received your order. On our end, your order immediately goes into action. Our system works 24/7 to fulfill your order. It finds the items, puts a hold on them, and preauthorizes your credit card until they are ready to ship.
Once all of your pieces have been collected at our Online Customer Care Team in Calgary, our dedicated online team will lovingly package them up and ship them out to you. Your credit card will only be charged once your order ships, and at that time, you’ll receive a Shipping Confirmation that includes a tracking number and a link, so you can follow your Flipwear on its journey to you via Canada Post.
When will my order ship?
Triple Flip uses Canada Post and Canpar to ship your orders.
It will take anywhere from 5-7 business days for Triple Flip to process your order and prepare it for shipment, as some limited stock items may need to come in from stores before we can ship your entire order out. We may need an extra day or two during busy times, such as Holiday, Back-to-School and Sale Events.
If it’s been longer than a week, please first check your junk mail to see if your Shipping Confirmation is there. If not, then send us an email using this Online Order Form, and we’ll do our best to figure out what happened. (We don’t want anything to fall between the cracks!)
Shipping times depend on where you live, which shipping option you chose, and availability of merchandise. Check out our Shipping page for more details. We do not ship on weekends or holidays.
Canada Post has specific shipping deadlines during December, in order for packages to arrive before Christmas. We post these on our website to help you choose which shipping method you want to use in order to get it where you need it to go, on time.
When will my payment be processed?
A pre-authorized amount for your purchase will be placed on the credit card used when your order is submitted. This is a common bank practice for handling credit card transactions, to ensure sufficient funds and account authenticity. It also helps speed up processing, so that there are no last minute surprises that delay your order in getting to you. Your credit card won’t be charged until the day we actually ship out your package.
Can I order by phone?
Sorry, but Canadian credit card regulations now require that for security reasons, all credit card information must be protected, so we can no longer accept orders by phone. Your card number must be entered into the website, for the protection of your personal credit card information.
I get an error message when I enter my shipping and billing address. What's going on?
If you are receiving an error message, there may be a problem with your credit card information, billing or shipping address. The billing address should match exactly what your bank has on file. Please review all information closely and look for any typos.
My order won't go through. What should I do?
If you’re still receiving an error message after reviewing your credit card information and billing address, make sure you’re using the latest version of your web browser (Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome). Why was my order cancelled?
Due to an unforeseen event, the item you ordered is no longer available. We promise that these cases are rare, but they can happen. We are just as disappointed as you when this happens. If your item is not available, you will be contacted as quickly as possible, and we’ll do our best to recommend another equally fabulous Flipwear piece as an alternative. Sorry, but we are not able to offer rainchecks or guarantee a suitable substitution if the item you requested is no longer available.
Oops! I made a mistake on my order. How do I fix it?
Hey, we’ve been there - and we’ll do our best to help you out. If you need to add another item, change or cancel your order, please contact us immediately with our Online Help Form or call 1.866.486.3547. Please have your Order ID number handy, which was emailed to you when you placed your order.
Unfortunately, we can’t make changes to an order once it’s been processed with a Shipping Confirmation, which can happen within hours of your order being placed. However, you will be able to return or exchange it once it arrives on your doorstep.
Can I buy a gift card online?
Yes! Check out this handy webpage, which will walk you through your purchase. Gift cards can be purchased in any amount and are sent in a beautiful gift card folder to you, or directly to the lucky recipient of your choice.

How do I know which Triple Flip size to order?
On every product detail page, you’ll find a size chart tab, which will help you figure out which size to choose. Stretchwear is designed to fit differently than streetwear clothing, so check out our Size Guide page for further tips on ordering for the best fit.
You’ll notice that our sizing is unique, and that is because we’ve designed a special fit system that does away with XS and XL, or sizes based on age. It is created from the measurements of 400 actual girls in this age range. Of course, tweens come in all shapes and sizes, because everyone grows at a different rate, and bodies can change so quickly. Our size zones are designed to help you find the size that’s just right, and allows for growth. The top size may be different than the bottoms, and it’s all perfectly normal! Which payment types does Triple Flip accept online?
You can pay using Visa, Mastercard, Gift Card and PayPal. Setting up a PayPal account will allow you to securely pay directly from your bank account or credit card.
How do I use a discount coupon code or Flip Rewards Card?
Once you’re in the shopping cart area, getting ready to pay for your order, you’ll see a form field for you to type in your unique code or Flip Rewards card number.
sale items, exchanges and returns
Saw it. Loved it. Bought it, Got it, and it wasn’t quite right. Can I send it back?
It happens. And we want to ensure that an exchange or return is hassle-free. We accept returns and exchanges at any Triple Flip store, or you may ship it back to our Online Distribution Centre using our Online Return Form. Visit the Returns and Exchanges page for more details. Sale items are considered a FINAL SALE and these items are not eligible for a full refund, but they may be exchanged for another item or store credit.
If I’m returning an item to the Online Distribution Centre, how long before my purchase is refunded?
Once your return package has been received, your refund will be issued in the original form of payment within 7 business days. You will receive an email letting you know that we’ve processed your transaction. Shipping charges, as well as any international duties and taxes are not refundable.
GST, PST and HST for kids
I’m buying for a child, why does it look like I am being charged PST or HST?
In some provinces, provincial tax law exempts certain children’s clothing and accessories from PST/HST. However, additional taxes need to be charged on clothing larger than a girl’s size 16, which is equivalent to a Triple Flip size 5. Not all items purchased for children are tax exempt.
Our online processing system is programmed to automatically assign taxes, based on size, not by age, as per each of the provincial tax laws. Whether it’s PST or HST, the percentage varies according to which province the merchandise is being billed to.
GST is applied to all purchases. HST is only applied where necessary.
In Saskatchewan only: clothing and shoes purchased for children 17 and under is exempt from provincial tax (PST). To receive the age exemption on sizes that would not normally qualify for the children’s clothing exemption, government regulations require that the person placing the order verify the age of the intended recipient as being exempt, and accept responsibility for this claim. As you go through the checkout process, you will see a box on your form that will ask whether the item you are buying is for a person under the age of 17, if you are requesting exemption, check this box to indicate that you are taking full responsibility for the accuracy of that information.
Which items are still taxable under the Provincial Sales Tax Act?
Even though certain items are being purchased for a child, some items are still taxable under the Provincial Sales Tax Act. Please check your provincial sales tax rules online, for the specifics in your province.
